1. Data controller
EUROTEX Simon Galuf s.p. (full name: "EUROTEX" POSREDNIŠTVO IN TRGOVINA NA DEBELO V TRANZITU SIMON GALUF S.P.), Ljubljanska ulica 89, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia; registration number: 1104292000; tax number: SI 27645843; email: [email protected].
2. What data we collect and why
We collect the data you give us voluntarily through the contact form (Contact page) or when you place an order (Cart page):
- full name, email address — to answer your message or handle your order;
- phone number and delivery address (street, house number, postcode, city, apartment) — collected only when you order, to organise delivery and so that the courier or our operator can call you;
- cart contents (chosen sets, quantities, total) and any notes — to fulfil the order;
- technical visit data (IP address, device/browser type) — collected automatically for the operation and security of the site and, if you consent, for statistical and advertising purposes (see the Cookies section).
Until you submit the order, the cart contents are stored only in your browser (localStorage), not on a server.
We process data to: (a) answer your questions; (b) fulfil the order and delivery; (c) meet legal obligations (e.g. accounting, tax); (d) with your consent — show ads on other platforms.
3. Legal basis
- performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — the checkbox in the forms, consent to non-essential cookies;
- legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) — e.g. accounting and tax rules;
- legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — e.g. security of the site.
4. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose. Data about completed orders is kept for the periods required by accounting and tax law. Messages that do not lead to an order are kept only as long as needed to answer them and for any follow-up.
5. Recipients of data
We do not sell data. It may be received by providers acting as processors: the form-delivery service (Formspree, USA), the courier, the hosting and content-delivery provider (e.g. Cloudflare) and the accounting service. Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it). Send your request to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si).
7. Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies. On your first visit a banner lets you accept all or continue with the essential ones only; your choice is stored in the browser (localStorage).
7.1 Essential (always active)
Required for basic operation (e.g. your saved cookie choice and the cart contents). They do not require consent.
7.2 Advertising and analytics (consent only)
If you choose “Accept all”, the site may activate third-party cookies and trackers to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and show relevant ads on other platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, Taboola, Outbrain or similar, if actually configured). They are not activated without your consent.
7.3 How to turn them off
Besides the banner options you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; clearing the site data also resets your choice. This may limit some features.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The version published on this page applies, with the date of the last update.
